The Mongrel I saw the dog again this morning. He was waiting for me in the wooded area near the parking lot leading up to the office, just like he had been for past several days. He is a beautiful animal, kind of reminds me of those wolf/German shepherd dog crosses people sometimes buy because they want to "own a piece of the wilderness." Large muscular frame, dark gray sable colored coat, one ear held pricked up and alert while the other is allowed to flop over to the side. The charming appearance is marred only by the look of neglect he has earned over what must have been a lifetime spent living as a stray. The handsome coat is dull and patchy in places, and numerous scars tell the tale of a life spent struggling with others over whatever food could be found. The Mongrel by Leonca
Despite the general air of roughness about him, I can sense that he is a very unique individual. More than anything it is his eyes that tell me this. They are an icy light blue color, and when he looks at
The Dinner Hour"We need a refill on salt shakers at table two, a fresh ketchup bottle on tables three, four, and six, and for god's sake, see if we've got a spare pacifier for the kid at table five." Marcheline's lawyer-like voice rattles off instructions faster than anyone can understand them. Taking over her shift is like diving headfirst into an ocean current traveling at a million miles an hour. The Dinner Hour by frizzymissizzy
I nod after every ten or so words; after sounding off eight commands in under a breath, Marcheline gasps, "Thank god you always show up for your shift on time." Then she flings off her waiter belt like it was on fire and throws it on the rung. I watch her dash out of the back room like she's being chased.
Poor Marcheline doesn't always do well with the evening rush hours, when anything can happen.
Already in my uniform, I make sure of three final things before I step out into the fray that is Elliot's Diner at 6 PM: 1) my nametag is straight and my name tag, because once I grabbed Pedro's nametag a
I enjoy taking pictures because I love art. I am just an unusual person you could say. But I am extremely creative. I love photography! I mostly do whatever I feel like. Thanks to my friends Kassandra and Alyxander (They are dating each other yay!) Sometimes I am in the pictures. But I know that I am notmodel gorgeous but sometimes I can be and those times are magnificent. I love doing requests but please don't ask for like graphic things or impossible things either. I enjoy what I do and everyone should just be happy. I love to write as well. I love writing poetry and I currently have 100 poems that I wrote. I am also into writing books and I have finished 3 children books. Lol No they are not published, not yet. I am still in high school and I do all of this on the side of my average life.
